Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Hurst, Texas, is being awarded an $8,266,644 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacturing and delivery of three Bell 407 analog helicopters in support of the endurance upgrade of the vertical take-off and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicle MQ-8C Fire Scout.

Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (52 percent); Mirabel, Canada (46 percent); and Ozark, Ala. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2014.

Fiscal 2013 aircraft procurement, Navy contract funds in the amount of $8,266,644 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-14-C-0022).
